Mashed Cauliflower
I usually eat cauliflower just cooked in salted water, topped with some butter. But some time ago I promised myself to eat more vegetables and find new ways to enjoy them. So time has come to prepare the cauliflower, not in usual for me way.
Ingredients:
- 1 cauliflower
- 1.5 cup of water
- 1/2tsp salt
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1/2 cup milk OR half&half
Instructions:
- Put cauliflower in water; add salt and two garlic cloves. Cook for 10-15 minutes, until cauliflower is tender.
- Remove excess water and add milk OR half&half.
- Mash or puree in a food processor to desired consistency.
Yield: 4 servings
